Last day of swimming lessons. Having SO much fun! I would even put my mouth and face in the water!

Let's see, now that I am 7 months old, here are some things that I can do and some things that I like:

I can sit all by myself.
I like to talk. A lot. It's really more of a squak or a squabble. But I do it a lot.
I like to sing songs. I like to listen to others sing songs to me.
I like to wiggle and dance.
I won't hold my own bottle, but I can find my paci and put that in my mouth!
I love swimming lessons.
I like to read stories.
I now know how to blow spit bubbles.
I won't eat yogurt for mom.
I pretty much sleep through the night.
I now sit in the bathtub.
Of course I am smiley and oh so loveable!

Today we had our second monthly playdate at Leesa's house. We had so much fun with all the kids!! Leah played with Austin, Parker and Kinsley. She called Evan on the phone. She and Ella spent some girl time together. And she did NOT want to cooperate for the group photo! The one posted is the best one I got (thanks to Amanda entertaining them all!). The one with the big alligator tears - that's pretty much how it went.... :-)

Looking forward to next month's play date already!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Leah's first Valentine's Day started off with smiles and giggles, new books and presents from family. This picture was taken about 11 a.m. All smiles and happy as can be with a new outfit on!

Just a few hours later, it was all downhill....temperature, not eating, constant crying.....we went to urgent care (since it was Sunday). Double ear infection paired with a yucky cold. All the drainage from her nose/throat was making her gag and throw up her food. :-( Poor baby. Then another trip to the doc on Monday as she was still puking and not eating...2 antibiotic shots later and plenty of sleep and pedialyte - she is finally starting to act like herself again!

Well, we had a busy day today. Leah had her 6 month pictures taken - I loved them all SO much, it was hard to pick just one to post!! I could have done more, but these were just some of my ultimate favorites. After pictures we celebrated Conner's birthday with an afternoon at Chuck E. Cheese, then went to the Brandon Holidy Inn Express for some fun at the waterpark. Despite Leah's swimming lessons, she was NOT having a fun time in the pool! I think it was the cool water temperature, combined with a lack of sleep and some possible teething that made for a rough day!
