It has been an overwhelmingly long time since my last visit to my once-faithful blog...where do I even begin?? Yes, I have thought about stopping by and making a re-appearance time and time again - but there is the ever-important word right there - TIME. Where does it go?? Some days I just don't know! I'll try to sum things up in just a slight paragraph or two (or four) to fill you all in.
Mr. Jalen Dale Hill, despite (still) being sick (with an ear infection and nasty cold) is a very happy little baby and becoming a little man right before our eyes. I predict walking in the very near future (already has 2-3 steps mastered), and then all hell will break loose, I am sure! It's already all we can do to keep his sneaky-little butt off the stairs, or his quick-zooming crawls (I swear he is the fastest-crawling baby I have ever seen!) away from his sister's snacks or juice cups. He is a very easy-going boy, but he does have a temper at times and is very vocal about it! (Think cute-baby-lion-roar crossed with angry-bird-squawk mixed with little-monkey-jumping fit....that's a pretty picture, huh? It's quite humerous and (usually) makes me laugh out loud!) Here's a little "I told you so!" for some - my son will also have curly hair (so cute!); he also has a crazy half-toothed grin right now as his baby teeth slowly come in.
